Michael R. Pope
Michael R. Pope is a retired U.S. Department of Homeland Security Public Affairs Multi-Media Producer and a retired U.S. Air Force Public Affairs Superintendent. His works cover a wide range of journalism and public affairs projects for various U.S. government communications agencies in the U.S. and abroad including; extensive coverage of the 9-11 attacks on NYC, Hurricane Katrina, Southwest Border immigration and US Trade issues. His commercial news experiences placed him in many on-camera reporter and spokesperson rolls broadcasting on television, radio, and You Tube. He has a Masters in Communications from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. The son of a 40-year retired U.S. State Department diplomatic journalist, he is a Washington D.C. native, a lifelong drummer, volleyball player and coach.
