LEAD WITH GRIT

In an ever-changing and complex world, being an adaptable and compassionate leader is a requirement for success. As leaders deal with technological advancement, changing societal norms, and learning new ways to effectively communicate, inspire, and create a highly influential work environment, I will share eight ways leaders can fulfill their purpose to maximize their goals. To “LEAD with GRIT" is an acronym that represents a leadership approach that balances strength and empathy. By "LEAD" with "GRIT," leaders will learn to inspire and motivate his/her team while being supportive and empathetic towards their needs. This approach will help leaders build team trust and loyalty, guiding them to better performance and outcomes.

 

Participants will:

  • Explore the importance of adaptation and having a growth mindset.

  • Explore the importance of being reflective and being willing to let go of control to gain big dividends.

  • Explore the importance of grace and respect and provide an environment that allows failure to promote success!

  • Explore the importance of “Acting like an intern”! Become a tenacious leader that is determined and persistent in the face of challenges.

BUILDING COLLABORATIVE CULTURE/TEAM:

When a leader’s objective is to increase an organization’s copacity to function as a team with common beliefs and goals it ensures a greater probability of success. Building a culture of collaboration allows teams to work effectively and creates an environment of shared responsibility and decision-making. A collaborative culture enhances an organization’s outcome, builds trust and empowerment among teammates, and creates a winning culture.

 

Participants will:

 

  • Defining what a collaborative culture is and why it's essential for success.

  • Explore the key elements of building a collaborative culture, trust, and shared values. 

  •  Discuss the benefits that a collaborative culture can bring: commitment, responsibility, and employee/student satisfaction.

  • Discussing practical strategies for implementing these elements in your organization, including team-building activities, open communication channels, and shared decision-making processes
